"The Worst Day Ever"

Today we had to take Meridith to the hospital to get her nose fixed. They had to place, the broken bone in her nose (hopefully it will stay) and then they also repaired the displaced septum. When we got to the hospital they made her change into scrub pjs and that was "just terrible" she didn't want to wear them. Then the thought of no panties just killed her. That was when she told me, "Mom, this is the worst day ever." She was such a sport and she did really well through the whole thing. We love her so much and are so thankful she will be better in a week or so. We have so much to be thankful for.

These pictures were taken right when we got home from the hospital. She wouldn't let me take any at the hospital.

T-Ball Practice

Piano Lessons

The A's are in NEED of a New Player!

On Wednesday we went to the kids game and the team they were playing didn't have enough kids, so they were recruiting. They came over and asked if Annabelle,who is only 3, would like to play. She of course JUMPED right up and said, "YES"! So I stayed right by her the whole game. Here are a few pictures of her! She was SO CUTE, and NO I am not just saying that! Everyone else said it, too!

Look at the SiZe difference between them! She was just as good as he was. She is so much cuter though!

Here she is STRETCHING! OOPS! She knocked the ball off of the tee, but she can fix that herself. She didn't need anyone to do it for her!

Friday's Picture of Meridith ... She's looking better!

She is starting to act more normal now! I think I liked her better when she was hurt! She was so loving and I LOVED it when she just wanted ME! Is that so selfish?

Thankful!!!

Today we took Meridith to the plastic surgeon only to find out that she is still too swollen to really do anything. He said she looks good though and that there is really nothing that should have to be done. I am so thankful that she is going to be ok! Here is a picture from yesterday and then one today. She is making great progress and so is her bruise!

They had a great time until Meridith fell and I had to take her to the emergency room. Here is a picture of her last night after we got home...oh our poor baby! She broke her nose and is going to see the plastic surgeon tomorrow.

Quick Trip to the Fair

Just a few pictures of Davin and Annabelle at the fair...

Feed the Ducks & Watch out for the GEESE!!!

I took Davin and Annabelle to the park to feed the ducks. It was quite an adventure! They started at one side of the pond where there weren't very many ducks.then they moved to another part of the pond...they started to get the bread & throw it in the pond when all of the sudden...Annabelle started to get attacked by the GEESE! I grabbed the bag of rolls from her & started throwing them at the geese to leave my babies alone! I didn't get anymore pictures after this because I was playing "Mother Goose" while protecting my goslings.

Our First T-Ball Game, do boys need a cup at the age of 5?

Yesterday the kids finally had their first t-ball game. It seemed that each time I looked at Davin he was chasing the ball. So I watched him and the other little boy he was throwing with. The other little boy had a great arm and each time he threw it, the ball went way past Davin. So I told Davin to line up with the other kids so that the parents could get the ball if it went past him. So he moved over and then the other little boy threw the ball right at him and it him in right where it counts. Davin yelled "That wasn't nice, you hit me in the tail". The little boy said, "what? your tail?" That is what Davin calls it. Davin was mad! Then the coach called the kids in to do their stretches and Davin ofcourse told his coach but I don't think he understood what Davin was trying to tell him. Then last night right before bed I asked him if he was ok and he said "Yes, mom. My tail isn't dead anymore".
